Security Specialist (JNCIS-SEC)

Overview

The Security Specialist (JNCIS-SEC) certification is designed for networking professionals with intermediate knowledge of Juniper Networks’ Junos OS for SRX Series devices. This course delves into advanced security technologies, platform configuration, and troubleshooting skills, equipping participants to effectively manage and secure modern networks.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand and implement Juniper Connected Security solutions. | Configure and manage advanced security policies, including application layer security using the AppSecure suite. | Set up and monitor Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) rules and custom attack objects. | Utilize Junos Space Security Director for policy management. | Deploy and manage Sky Advanced Threat Prevention (ATP) and Juniper Advanced Threat Prevention (JATP) solutions. | Configure SSL Proxy and SRX chassis clustering. | Understand and implement Juniper Connected Security solutions.

Prerequisites
